Thursday, September 8 All Day Workshop for Yearbook Staff - Yearbook Field Trip Info Newspaper Staff and YB staff who are staying at school will Hit the Halls WITH your substitute - follow directions for the scavenger hunt. You need to take two photos (any composition) and get two quotes from your subject/s.
Remember if you have to ask if you can enter a classroom, you have already interrupted the teacher and the lesson. You must enter classrooms one photographer at a time and take photos as though you were invisible. Avoid muggers and don’t answer questions about why you are taking photos. Teachers know you will be hitting the halls.

Week 9 Monday, October 17 We are going to begin selecting photos for your spreads this week. Once you place photos in the correct photo folder, you must crop and edit auto levels and auto contrast. Yearbook Production Assignments Students who do not show up for after school work days to complete spreads may receive a failing grade. When you do not complete your spread, another student must do the work for you. Deadlines are tight and needed so our book can be distributed at the end of May. All students in deadline 4 must stay after school twice a week during the weeks of February 6 and February 13. Those who are on deadline 3 should have come in this week to finalize their spreads.

Wednesday, April 18- Begin creating your logo and include the slogan. Some of your marketing logos will be shown at FAN on Tuesday, May 1, from 6:15 - 7:45. Email if you would like to be a model for FAN (shopper).
Thursday, April 19- Work on logo. Create a second logo after you finish that looks just like the real one. Change the words so we can use this logo as a guessing game at FAN NIGHT. You can have more time to complete these next week.
Friday, April 20 - Current Events Quiz. Marketing Test. Work on logos and include the “tag line” or catch phrase for your product. Save InDesign Files to your 047 and again to the Drop Box for marketing. Also save AS A .PDF. Once you have finalized your logo create a second one exactly the same, but with a different name. Why?
