GRADING POLICY
Quality of Work– 55%: This includes teacher assignments, quizzes, writing assignments, photography, proofreading and layout/design. Meeting Deadlines: Late work causes problems for everyone.
Time on Task– 45%: An effective staff is work oriented, spending their time on the task at hand or helping others; wandering the halls; socializing and disrupting the work of others is unproductive.
Overtime (O.T.) – YEARBOOK
- Yearbook editors are required to work at least four hours outside of class per six-weeks to meet deadlines.
- Section editors and staff members are required to work at least two hours outside of class each six weeks..
- This can be accomplished before school from 7:30 – 8:15 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in our classroom or outside of class by signing up to take photos of scheduled events and getting interviews.
- You may send in story drafts/notes via email to nikki_dowd@roundrockisd.org. I will place your drafts in your “file” on the server.
NEWSPAPER
