This week is all about receiving BATCHES from the plant and PROOFING. We will tape all proofs to tables so all classes can view photos and credits. Also it’s best to have more then two editors edit. Look for consistency in style, color to fit what is on the page, formatting (rag left or right alignment, spell check (make sure DYNAMIC spell check is selected) all photos match captions, faces match names, no duplicate faces are inserted and first and last names match our INDEX database. Index Editors plan to work overtime with me this week to make sure our database is picture perfect before you begin the indexing process. Renee will help us with getting our index started. (Reminder - Before indexing be sure to ungroup everything on the page and delete any photo or design credits. Once you have finished indexing a page, close the page without saving. That way people who took photos are not placed in the index for that page unless they are in an actual photo.

Yearbook Staffers should help during advisory time. 1st PhotoTexas will charge $5 for photos and print them at the time the pics are taken. Students must prepay before having their photo made. Workdays are Thursday and Friday. I will be available after school if you need to finish a spread in deadline 3.
A note to parents. I promise to email the map and outline of times and places to meet on Wednesday evening. We have 7 parents available to drive so I will be contacting you on Tuesday about driving.
